Video: PBSO deputy, while speeding, crashes cruiser into car

Dashcam video shows Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Hegele driving more than 100 mph on Southern Boulevard on May 27, 2016 in his marked cruiser, seconds before hitting then 60-year-old Harry Deshommes in his Smart car, severely injuring him. Investigators said Hegele did not have his emergency lights on and was told not to pursue another car that was allegedly involved in a felony.
